Dr. Wesley Mills, M.D. is currently serving his second 3-year term as Senior Advisor.

Dr. Mills, a board certified Primary Care and Sports Medicine Physician, is located in the Southside/Arlington area of Jacksonville. He is a graduate of the University of Missouri-Columbia School of Medicine.  He completed his specialty training in Family Medicine at St. Vincent’s Medical Center, Jacksonville, Florida, where he was Chief Resident.  He completed his sub-specialty training in Sports Medicine at the Mayo Clinic Jacksonville.

Dr. Mills is an active member of the Duval County Medical Society, Jacksonville Sports Medicine Program, Northeast Florida Medical Society, American Academy of Family Practice, American Medical Society for Sports Medicine, American College of Sports Medicine and the American Medical Association. He is the team physician for the Jacksonville Barracudas semi-pro hockey team and the Englewood H.S. football team. In addition, he is a member of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Inc., and an active member of Bethel Baptist Institutional Church.

Following completion of his training, he joined practice with Dr. Anne Waldron, at First Care Family Practice, a division of Family Care Partners of Northeast Florida.  His scope of practice encompasses the treatment and evaluation of all primary care issues and those of a sports medicine and musculoskeletal nature.  Currently, Dr. Mills is the owner and practice director at First Coast Primary Care located at 8075 Gate Parkway West, Suite 202 in Jacksonville, Florida specializing in family and sports medicine.
